COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will give a set of skills that will enable you to recognize the body language of others, while also helping you become more aware of what your own body is communicating. Importantly it will help you to recognize what signals that your own body language is sending to others. This course will help you put actions into place to help you fine-tune your body language so that your nonverbal communication is improved.
COURSE OUTCOME
- Be capable of defining body language
- Have an understanding of the benefits of interpreting gestures and mannerisms
- Understand the purpose of interpreting body actions and mannerisms
- Be given the skills to interpret basic body gestures and actions
- Be familiar with common errors when interpreting body language
- Appreciate what your own body behavior is communicating to others
- Be able to put the acquired skills into practice
